Your Healing Journey offers Reiki treatments, Shamanic Healing, workshops and other alternative methods to help you journey towards a balance of YOUR mind, body and spirit. Blessings. Louise

I was first introduced to Reiki in 1998 after being diagnosed with Clinical Depression. After suffering a miscarriage, the lost of my Grandfather and Great Aunt and my son starting kindergarten all within an 8 month period. After many losses; dreams and thoughts of earlier traumas were seeping back into my life, this took me to the brink of suicide.

With the love and support of my husband, son, family and friends, who helped me get back to reality, and told me that my journey here was not done. My family physician recommended that with proper medication, counseling and massage therapy sessions, I would be on my way to heal the depression. The massage therapist introduced me to Reiki and that was the beginning of my journey towards healing myself.

I have been a Reiki practitioner since 2004 and during these past 7 years I have also learned CFQ QiGong, T.R.E. (Trauma Release Exercises), Shamanic Healing, Sound Therapy, Crystal Healing and Hand Reflexology. I have also made 4 GrandMother Moon drums with Carlos Gomes through his Healing Into Drum Making workshops.
